With more than two decades of commercial and residential real estate experience, Gordon founded Elevate Development Corp (EDC) to leverage his experience to deliver exceptional quality and service to his partners at EDC.

With Gordon’s expertise in identifying underperforming commercial real estate assets and new development opportunities, coupled with top notch partners and an amazing staff, he and his team were able to grow EDC to increase velocity and aggressively grow the real estate portfolio.

In 2024, Gordon and the EDC team merged with Weathervane, bringing with him EDC’s impressive real estate portfolio and future pipeline projects.

Gordon lives in North Vancouver with his wife and two teenage kids. He loves to hike, spend time with friends and family and ski at their family property at Sun Peaks.

As real estate Partner for Weathervane, Scott is responsible for oversight of all day-to-day real estate operations, including but not limited to strategic direction, management of staff, sourcing of properties (development or income producing), due diligence, financing, property management, risk management and wider partner relationships associated with portfolio assets and activities.

Scott joined Elevate (later merging with Weathervane) after a near 20 year career as a Corporate, commercial and Real Estate Banker, including senior roles for almost a decade with the Republic Bank and Royal Bank in The West Indies (and Latin America), followed by 4 years with Bank of Montreal (BMO) in downtown Vancouver and almost 10 years with Canadian Western Bank (CWB). Scott brings this seasoned experience as a financier and manager of large teams into his role and investment in Weathervane.

His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West Indies, coupled with several professional courses over the last 20 years.

Scott lives in Delta with his wife and two young daughters. When not swimming in proformas, appraisals, leases, purchase agreements, QS reports and running alongside a professional Weathervane Team, he spends time trying to recreate his junior hockey life, pretending to be a good golfer, adding to his aged rum collection, and keeping up with his 8 and 6 year old daughters.

Andrea’s primary focus with Weathervane Real Estate is all things project and development planning. From the initial conception, planning, budgeting, drawing/design, municipal process and construction management, Andrea does it all for both commercial and residential developments.

Andrea began her commercial real estate career in 2008 while working for Colliers International in commercial brokerage. During Andrea’s ten year tenure in brokerage, she was driven in all aspects of the deal process including due diligence, marketing, prospecting, negotiations, contract writing and deal closing. Andrea is also experienced in residential project sales, where she worked for a short-term managing the sales process of a variety of new construction projects in the Greater Vancouver area.

Andrea has her Real Estate Business Diploma from BCIT’s professional real estate program (2008), is a licensed real estate professional (2009) and more recently completed her project management certificate (PMC) from SFU’s continuing studies program (2020).

In her off hours, Andrea can be found cheering on her two kids at their various extracurricular sports/passions, weekend adventuring with the family, or relaxing at her Tri-cities home.

Edith brings ten years of industry knowledge and expertise to her role as Senior Accountant for the real estate portfolio. Managing all aspects of the accounting function, including corporate, treasury, property and development accounting, she has finely crafted excel skills and is our in-house Sage 300CRE implementation specialist.

Edith started her career as a junior accountant, learning the accounts’ payable and receivable functions and working her way up to property and development Accountant. She later advanced to a senior treasury role before joining Elevate Development Corp in 2019.

Edith is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).

Beyond her professional pursuits, Edith enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors. Her post-secondary years were marked by adventures across the South Pacific, Southeast Asia and Europe. Nowadays, she enjoys discovering local gems, snowboarding at Whistler, and appreciating the natural beauty of British Columbia.

Jeannie So is the Senior Accountant, Tax for Weathervane Real Estate. She handles the accounting, financial reporting and tax components for Weathervane. She is an expert in corporate tax compliance and tax accounting and her role at Weathervane is to guide the company’s objectives for optimum tax planning and organizational structure.

A veteran in public practice, Jeannie began her professional career with a small public practice firm. She was responsible for preparing year-end financial statements, along with the corporate tax returns for small to medium-sized private companies. Jeannie also joined the tax team of a mid-sized public practice firm with a focus on corporate tax for publicly-listed companies. Jeannie also worked for a land development company assisting in the tax and accounting functions. She worked for Ernst and Young in 2018 as a Tax Manager, working closely with clients for their tax compliance, tax provisions and tax accounting needs before coming to Elevate Development Corp in 2021.

Jeannie graduated from SFU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting Major) and holds her CPA and CGA designations. She is also currently working through the CPA’s In-Depth Tax Program with a projected graduation date of Fall 2021.

Her current interests include her Corgi Puppy that is a great distraction from work. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new locales and checking out hole-in-the-wall restaurants off the beaten path.
